Part 101 (Unmanned Aircraft and Rockets) Manual of Standards 2019

Explains and details how to comply with identified areas of the law. This includes detailed instruction related to technical requirements, certification and advanced commercial operations.

Remotely piloted aircraft systems – licensing and operations (AC 101-01 v3.0)

This AC was developed by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to provide guidance to RPA operators, remote crew, manufacturers and maintainers. It describes the categorisation of RPA and general requirements for use of RPAS. It also provides guidance to operators and crew on the safe and legal operation of RPA in all classes of airspace.

Remotely piloted aircraft systems – operation of excluded RPA (AC 101-10 v1.3)

This AC provides guidance for operators, remote pilots and other remote crew on the requirements for safe operation of excluded RPA and recommended training to safely operate an excluded RPA

Micro and excluded Remotely Piloted Aircraft operations (Plain English Guide)

By following this guide, it is expected you will comply with the rules that apply to micro RPA (250 g or less) and excluded RPA (more than 250 g, but not more than 25 kg) that may be used for commercial activities or certain activities over your own land.
